Born in Franca, in the state of São Paulo, Gui Cintra is a Brazilian director, creative producer, writer, format creator, entrepreneur, and communicator. A graduate of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP) and the International Academy of Film (AIC), he is a founding partner of the audiovisual production company Farra (www.farra.media), working in broadcast TV, streaming, pay TV, cinema, internet, advertising, and theater:

  • General Director of the comedy TV show "Aberto Ao Público" (TV Globo), an original format created and produced by Farra in partnership with Dromedário.

  • Producer and Development Supervisor for the documentary series "Pílulas de Farinha: O Escândalo que Gerou Vidas" (HBO Max), produced by Farra.

  • Creator and General Director of the series "Do Que Riem?" (Comedy Central/Paramount+), an original format created and produced by Farra.

  • Screenwriter for the fiction feature film "Vidente Por Acidente" (Disney), produced by Conspiração Filmes and starring Otaviano Costa, with Katiuscia Canoro, Evelyn Castro, Sérgio Loroza, and Xuxa in the cast.

  • Creator of the Original Idea and Screenwriter for the fiction series "B.O." (Netflix), starring Leandro Hassum.

  • General Director of the TV show "Foi Mau" (RedeTV!), produced by Farra.

  • Screenwriter for “Programa do Porchat” (RecordTV), where he wrote over two hundred episodes.

  • Director of the talk show "Boca a Boca," hosted by Bianca Andrade (Boca Rosa), produced by Farra and winner of the 2020 MTV Miaw award.

  • Creator and Screenwriter of the series "O Mais Espetacular e Magnífico Espetáculo da Comédia" (TNT), with Victor Lamoglia, Leticia Lima, Ed Gama, and Fafy Siqueira in the cast.

  • Creator and Screenwriter of the special series “2000 e Vish” (TNT), starring Leandro Hassum.

  • Member of the writing team for the fiction series “171 - Negócio de Família” (Universal/Globosat), a finalist for the ABRA Screenwriting Award in the fiction/comedy category.

  • Screenwriter for the series “Tá Pago” (TNT/WarnerMedia), hosted by Leandro Hassum.

  • Screenwriter for the talk show “Posso Explicar” (Disney+/National Geographic), hosted by Miá Mello.

  • Screenwriter for “Bravo!” (ESPN/Disney), a sports reality show produced in Brazil in partnership with La Liga.

  • Head of the writing team of 12 for “CCXP Worlds,” the largest geek event on the planet.

  • Director of the comedy “Coach Nada,” an exclusive fiction series for Instagram IGTV, produced by Farra and nominated for Best Vertical Series at the 2020 Rio Webfest.

  • Director of the talk show “Tudo Combinado,” branded content produced for the internet in partnership with C&A, hosted by Fernanda Souza, Giovanna Lancellotti, and Fernanda Rodrigues.

  • Director of the live specials “Foca em 2020” and "Foca em 2021," pop culture retrospectives hosted by Foquinha, and "Omelete No Oscar 2021," by the Omelete group.

  • Screenwriter and Associate Producer for the film "A Última Peça" (Europa Filmes), directed by André Moraes, available on Amazon Prime Video.

  • Screenwriter for two fiction projects with the comedy group Hermes e Renato: the series “Tony Berg” and the feature film “Muambeiras,” both in pre-production by MYMAMA.

  • In theater, author of the play "Mundo do Rezende: O Show," starring Rezende Evil, which premiered at Tom Brasil to a sold-out audience.
